Kevin really doesn’t need any introduction. A household name thanks to his significant contributions to many gastro and gourmet publications and TV shows. Kevin is well known for his contemporary style of cooking which has inspired many famous restaurants around the world.
Edward Hayden
Edward Hayden is a well-known chef author and familiar to radio and television audiences from his weekly cookery slots on TV3′s Ireland AM and regular appearances on radio. He runs the his own cookery school and lectures at Waterford Institute of Technology and also regularly lectures in the Irish Countrywomen’s Association Adult Education Centre.
Tara Walker
Tara is owner of the East Coast Cookery School in Termonfeckin Co Louth and is a must see at this years festival. Tara is author of “Good Food No Stress” and her lighthearted approach to food is both entertaining and engaging. We can’t wait to welcome Tara to the festival in July where a real treat is in store.
Gary O Hanlon
Another fantastic edition to our line up of celebrity chefs, Gary is a much sought after talent at many festivals around the country as well as on our airwaves. Gary likes to keep it simple with a no nonsense approach to great food!

Michelin Star chef JP McMahon has a special affinity for Spanish cooking. He is a huge advocate as can be seen with his amazing tapas offering that celebrates over 50 unique regions. Once experienced you will keep coming back for more.

Martin O Donnell head chef at The Twelve in his native Barna. A frequent contributor on both the Saturday and Sunday Weekend AM shows. With a style of cooking that focuses on local and seasonal ingredients – traditional dishes with a contemporary twist – Martin’s passion is using local producers who are passionate about their produce. True to the region, True to the season.
Shane Smith
Master Pastry Chef, Shane Smith has over 20 years’ experience working in some of the world’s most celebrated pastry kitchens across the globe. The Co. Cavan native also works closely with Coole Swan Irish Liqueur as a consultant and lead recipe developer for the renowned Irish cream liqueur and has exclusively published recipes in 20 of the company’s signature cookery books.
